Robin Rose Bennett will be our keynote speaker.

Retreat schedule

Come immerse yourself in the beauty of the Green World. Steep in a refreshing outdoor hot tub, luxuriate in a cleansing wood-fired sauna, nourish yourself with rich and healthy meals, and learn while sharing in the camaraderie of the herbal community.

Held every November, the NEHA Annual Retreat is an informal opportunity for our members to connect with each other in a way that is relaxing, informative and fun. It is a time for herbalists to stay connected with nature while strengthening connections with other herbalists.

The location chosen for our retreat is intended to be as central to the Northeast as possible, each year we alternate locations so that members from different parts of the Northeast can attend.  This year we’re back at the popular 9Mountain Retreat Center in Plainfield, Massachusetts. During the retreat we’ve scheduled events for those who choose to attend or just come to relax and rejuvenate at this lovely location.

We’ve planned several exciting funshops throughout the weekend for you. Retreat schedule A Plant distillation demonstration, panel discussion, an herb walk for herbalists as well as the barter fair and seed exchange, free time and on Saturday, Robin Rose Bennett will be our keynote for the evening.  We’ll also honor the one person elected by membership to receive the Community Herbalist Award.  The Community Herbalist Award is our way of saying “Thank you!” to NEHA members who have made significant contributions to the herbal community and to making herbalism accessible to the public. NEHA’s annual business meeting will also be held during the weekend to give members who are interested a chance to voice their preferences and help steer the direction of NEHA into the future.
