"An Exploration of Taste: Finding Balance in Farming and in Life through the Bitter and the sweet" with Linda Shanahan
Follow Linda on a journey through time, exploring the most common herbal tastes in her quest to achieve balance, told through her understanding as an herb farmer, nurse and herbalist.
Linda Shanahan, MSN, RN is a bridge walker.
Linda is first and foremost an herbalist with a foundation of knowledge that sprouted in the forests of Oregon nearly twenty years ago. She is also a registered nurse, with experience in critical care, hospice and community health over the last decade. Since 2008, she has operated Barefoot Botanicals, a small certified organic herb farm in Doylestown, Pennsylvania with her husband Eric, where she teaches classes and workshops in safe use of herbs to support wellness. Linda believes to achieve health, we need to find ways to re-establish our broken connections with our wild and beautiful planet, starting with what grows beneath our feet.
